Well my plans for today have been cut short due to rain. So I figured I would fight my shitting internet connection and post about what I did today.
This morning I decided to go to Asakusa, I wanted to go back to Seiyu to pick up some things I didn't have hands for and wanted to check out the rest of the department store. So I figured I would go to the Asakusa temple first. It was crowded but not as bad as I thought it would be. The temple was beautiful, and I once again wished for a good trip. Since this is a tourist temple I figured I could get my fortune in English... that was a bad idea... I ended up with a bad fortune >_< I was so mad! As I was getting ready to storm off these two girls said excuse me in English and I thought I was just in their way. But then they made this disappointed face as I kept walking so I turned around and asked if they needed something. The girl said in English that she was an art student and wanted to take a picture of me. I said sure, but didn't bother to ask any more questions since I was pissed about my fortune. I tried my best to smile happily for them though. I then crumpled up my fortune and tossed it in the trash. It makes me wonder what the first one I have says.... while at the temple I was looking at the shops but not planning to buy anything since its a tourist trap. However, there was an idol shop so I figured I would take a look. I had been thinking that I wanted to get an uchiwa the next time I went to the convenience store, so I went ahead and bought an Arashi one from the shop. I thought about buying another phone strap, but I already have about 5 hanging off my phone. I then wondered around aimlessly just looking at random things. I went by the tourist center to get a few maps just in case, and when the girl there saw my uchiwa she freaked out. "I've never met anyone from over seas who likes Johnny's!" She said she wasn't a big Arashi fan but liked other groups, I asked who they were but she didn't think I would know them, so I pushed her for it and sure enough I did, she is a Kiss-My-Ft2 fan. I also had lunch in Asakusa, oh it was good, pork cutlet with rice and cheese.
I finally made my way to Rox and went through all the floors and all the shops. There was one shop that I really wanted to get something from it but it was extremely expensive. I told the girl I was too poor so she pointed me to something "cheaper" ..... I told her I needed to think about it. I did find a really cute dress for only 2300 yen. It fits quite nicely too, so I thought what the hell, I can't get it in the US and went ahead and got it. I love the clothes here though, they are so much cuter then what we have. I wish I brought more money >_< I am proud of myself though, when walking through the book store I found a new Okada Junichi photo book and decided not to get it. I figured, it will be here later on in the month, I want to wait and see what all I end up getting from the JE shop first. Maybe I will actually succeed at being conservative! After looking through all the shops I finally went down to Seiyu. You know whats funny, when I was bagging my stuff I heard someone say hello, when I turned around it was the same little old lady from yesterday! Talk about a small world lol. I wonder how many times I will see her there this month?
Well the rained has slowed down and now I am debating if I want to go to Ueno Park. I know I will be here for a month, but school starts tomorrow so I feel like I need to make the most of the day's I don't have classes. There is just so much I want to see, I wonder if I can see it all and still study?
